Child Safety Software promotion contest

Blog Contests

Being a parent myself I do wonder if I should one day control the usage of the Internet by my child one day. Right now, Baby is only 1+ year old (I was previously joking that I want her to be able to program in C “Hello World” by 2) and I could still have quite some time to formulate my strategy to tackle this.

There have been many reports of sexual predators lurking on the IRC or instant messaging channels and many children have been unwittingly lured through various means online and taken advantage of. I really hate it when that happens because the Internet is suppose to be a fun place (and a place for some of us to make some money).

ICU has come up with some child monitoring software to help you monitor what activities your child does online. This is a bit sneaky on the part of the parents but it helps to pre-empt the parents if anyone is trying to take advantage of our children.

Paul, who is involved in the marketing of this child safety online software, is running a contest to promote the use of this software. Check out the details of this contest here. But most important of all, protect our children from any online predators.
