The original intention of this blog was to be used to take part in the many blog contest that are presented each day for people like us on the Internet community to take part in contest and earn some money or prizes in the process.Given the nature of these contest, a side benefit would be that the contest that I blog about would also benefit my visitors if you are so incline to take part in this fun online activity. Thus we have a Win-Win-Win situation.
I get to take part in online contests, my visitors will learn about these contests and the web sites that holds these contests would have their visitors and backlinks.
But in the recent months, the niche of contest blogging is becoming crowded and every now and then you will see a new contest blog surface. I personally think it’s a good thing that this is happening as I believe that contest blogs serve a specific purpose in the blogosphere.
I will still continue to take part in blog contest but via my other personal blogs Jerry Khoo dot com (which I had neglected in the past few months). so what will become of this blog? Well, it’s time to differential again within the niche of contest blogs. This blog will become a site of resource for blog owners to find out how to run their blog contests and in doing so, optimize their contest to help in their SEO and traffic efforts.
This will be done over a series of articles and “Howto run blog contests” series. I hope that this blog will serve as a useful resource to all blog owners.
